Canoe / Primitive Survival Trip

Friday March 26 through Sunday March 28

Location: Caddo Lake, near Uncertain, TX (300 miles NE of Austin, 170 miles E of Dallas)

Tentative Itinerary: Meet at Caddo Lake State Park Friday at 10 am. Paddle to Goat Island, our
camp for 2 nights. In camp we will learn and practice basic primitive skills such as shelter, fire, and water Friday
afternoon and Saturday. We will also find time for some additional canoe exploration on the lake.
Meals will be shared. Canoeing equipment is available for rent. No prior canoeing experience is
required.  Return to Caddo Lake State Park early afternoon Sunday.

You will need to bring
A shared meal for the group as assigned before the trip
Canoeing Equipment (unless you rent from us)
Camping Equipment (Tent, Sleeping Bag, Pad)

Cost:$50 (8-12 year olds), $55 (13-15 year olds), $85 (16-adult)
If needed rental canoe: $50
