Length of Time: Friday arrive at the Camp as early as 12 noon (bring your own picnic lunch).
Activities will beging at 1pm on Friday.
Friday night 6pm, will be a Potluck dinner, bring a dish to share, enough to feed your family.
Dinner will be followed by Opening campfire at 8pm.
Closing ceremony is on Sunday at 3:00pm
Class Description
This will be a family event, at least one parent must be in attendance, (summer camps are for kids alone.) Children under 5, must be supervised and accompany by parent, all the time.
Day Activities: Archery, Nature Awareness Activities, Birding, Crafts, Canoeing, Kayaking, Swimming, Horseback Riding, Fire Building, and Fishing workshop (bring your own equipment). You will be welcome to participate in as many of the different activities as you want, when they are presented. A schedule will be posted to inform you what will be happening throughout the day.
Evening Activities: Star Gazing, Storytelling, Campfire Song & Music, Nightwalks and Night Woods Activities.
Food: Potluck Friday 6pm. We Provide breakfast both Saturday and Sunday along with Dutch Oven cooked dinner Saturday night. Bring your own ice chests for lunches and snacks.
Thing to Bring:
Camping Equipment: tents, sleeping bags, pads.
Eating materials: plates, cup, silverware. We will have wash stations set up for clean up after meals.
Personal items: clothes, towels, swim suits, tooth brush & paste, umbrellas, sunscreen.
Optional items: flashlight, camp chairs, insect repellent.
