Organic Gardening for Spring

Upcoming Dates: Depends on the weather!!! Different workshops may be scheduled in April and Early May. Contact us to secure a date.

Costs: $35 (teens and adults), $20 (8-12 years old), $15 (5-7 years old), 4 and younger free with paying parents.

Length of Time: 10am - 3pm.

Class Description

It is definitely a "work"shop. Get your hands in the dirt and help out.

• Learn about how to plan and then plant a vegetable garden.
• What grows good in our area of Texas.
• How to maintain the garden during the growing season and from year to year.
• Why and how to stay organic.
• Use of gardening tools and proper care and maintenance.

Bring your own lunch

After the garden is planted you are welcome to come back and work it through the season, learning as you go. Help and then share in on the harvests. Appointments must be set up for return visits.
